The Beast is a Mask Monster that appears in the Arkham Horror Second Edition Dunwich Horror and Elder Sign Unseen Forces, an Epic Monster that appears in the Eldritch Horror Under the Pyramids, and a Character Card that appears in the Call of Cthulhu: The Card Game Eldritch Edition.

Mythos[]
The Beast first appeared in the Call of Cthulhu RPG adventure Fungi from Yuggoth (Keith Herber, 1984).
This form of Nyarlathotep manifests itself though one of the world's great monuments. It is the principal being worshiped by the Brotherhood of the Beast.[1]
